Rota Terra Brasilis

Rota Terra Brasilis, proposes to make a cut on the route that covers the departure of the Portuguese caravans until the Discovery Coast and its more than 250 kilometers of extension. And, it has the potential to be an important catalyst for the implementation of a major cultural corridor; increasing tourist values ​​in the region, fostering the creative economy, encouraging improvements in local infrastructure, combining the preservation of cultural heritage.

The mentioned route includes the Portuguese cities of Belmonte, Felgueiras, Tomar, Santarém and Lisbon, reaching the extreme south of Bahia: Prado, Porto Seguro, Santa Cruz Cabrália and Belmonte.
Created in 2018 and designed by L’AA Projects, a creative agency focused on creating content and culture, Rota Terra Brasilis has the support of the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute – IPHAN, the Government of Bahia and the Embassy of Peace, in addition to a multidisciplinary team, whose mission is to make the destination recognized in Brazil and worldwide.

Through simple actions such as unveiling places of cultural interest, facilitating public-private partnerships and stimulating new ways of sustainable and diversified tourism through the paths, going beyond the sun and sea and the already established borders.
